Super positive experience 3 great reason to stay here. 1st - the staff was so trusting and helpful to help in booking the jungle tours in advance. They can arrange everything from jungle walk, jeep safari, cultural tour, bus booking to kathmandu, pre-packed breakfast and short commute via tuk tuk to chitwan city. And best of all the price is super reasonable. 2nd - the calmness of the resort especially viewing the river at anytime of the day. If you want a good connection with nature, river and appreciate some silence from heavy music. This is the best place to be in. It has limited units of cabins, which means less number of humans. And they have several sheltered verandahs for one to sit and appreciate the river view. It feels tranquil , peaceful and nature feel. 3rd - the jungle walk is a must and highly recommended. We are accompanied by 2 guides who brought us to canoe river trip followed by jungle walk resting in several tree top inside the jungle. For us who are rather unfit, we think half a day especially noon to evening will be good enough for the walk. We took the full day and recorded 26K steps for the day , feeling rather tired at th end of day. The evening jungle walk was an adventurous one as we had a close encounter in spotting a wild rhino from a distance. The guide prioritised safety and got us to leave together once we got a nice shot of the rhino on phone. Walking on safari observing animals that might pop up amidst the sunset view at the safari was a truly memorable one. Please do leave a tip to the guides as they are really dedicated professional and nice.

Tiger Corner Inn Homestay ligt op 1 km van het nationaal park Chitwan in Sauraha en biedt accommodatie met een keuken. U kunt gratis gebruikmaken van WiFi. Ik heb hier een geweldige tijd gehad. De homestay wordt gerund door een geweldig mooie familie. Ik heb zelden zulke lieve en warme mensen ontmoet. De man werkt als gids in het park. Hij heeft 27 jaar ervaring en weet onwijs goed waar hij op moet letten en delen met de toeristen. Hele fijne ervaren gids. De vrouw regelt alles in de homestay en kan goed koken! Zij is zo onwijs lief en vriendelijk. Echt geweldig, ik kan niet anders zeggen. Het voelde voor mij als thuiskomen. Zij regelen allerlei activiteiten. Wellicht krijg je een goedkopere prijs (minimaal verschil) maar dan heb je niet zo'n geweldige gids. Ik hoop hen weer te mogen ontmoeten. Homestay ligt erg dichtbij het park.

Hotel Rhino Land, Sauraha ligt op 1 km van het nationaal park Chitwan in Sauraha en beschikt over een restaurant, een bar en gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. De accommodatie heeft een eigen restaurant. Host is nice and accomodation is just natural. I love this place and have been here 2 times and planned to be here with my wife and daughter soon again in november.

Wild Horizons Guest House ligt in Sauraha en biedt een barbecue en uitzicht op de tuin. U kunt van een maaltijd genieten in het eigen restaurant. I had an amazing experience with the Wild Horizons Guest House Team. From the moment I booked with these folks they were so easy to communicate with, they offered to pick me up/drop me off at the bus station, helped me organize my safari and provided some delicious meals. I also loved the complimentary bikes! Sujan even went so far as to drive me to meet some friends one evening. It’s just an amazing family vibe inside this guest house! Thank you Ram, Papu and Sujan! You guys rock! The safari I booked with Wild Horizons was so special—our guide Yam and Gavinder were so professional, and passionate about what they do. I can’t recommend these two enough. This is also a great space to meet other travellers if that’s your thing or enjoy quiet time. I did both on this trip.

Hotel Sauraha Gaida House is voorzien van een restaurant en accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar. Tharu Cultural Museum ligt op 3 minuten lopen. A perfect place to stay. Our host Lokraj went out of his way to make us feel welcome like family. Attending directly to all of our needs be it tours,taxis, cycle hire or cultural performances it gave us a memorable experience of Sauraha and the Chitwan region. Just far enough from the hustle but close to town and surrounded by locals going about daily life. With the host’s favourite response of “no problem “ you can’t go wrong.

Hotel Garden of Dreams bevindt zich in Sauraha, op 13 minuten lopen van Tharu Cultural Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras, een bar en gratis WiFi. Peaceful location close to the centre and hospitality of the hosts was great. A homestay run by a cheerful and helpful family. Great location for family and solo travellers.

KC's Home is gelegen in Sauraha met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin en terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de bed & breakfast gratis beschikbaar. Beautiful hotel with great garden. Central location. Very helpful staff and excellent amenities. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Tasty breakfast and great coffee (real cappuccino ;-))
