Situated in Kathmandu, 200 metres from Hanuman Dhoka, Studio Apartment at UNESCO Heritage Site features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. The location was amazing and the apartment had everything I needed. The host was very attentive and helpful.

With garden views, Sunrise Point Homestay is situated in Nagarkot and has a restaurant and room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. I loved staying at this homestay. Ram, Raj and the entire family are amazing people. The food at the restaurant is the best I have had during my time in Nepal! This homestay has basic facilities which is reflected in the friendly price. The beds are quite hard, but just ask for more padding and blankets and they will provide you.

Gurung’s Home is perfectly located a short walk from Thamel, but nicely set back from all the chaos and noise. It’s very clean, comfortable and was the perfect place for me to stay both before and after heading out trekking. The staff are so friendly and helpful and as a solo female traveller I felt very at ease. And the value for money is much better than anything you can get just a five minute walk away in Thamel!

Situated just 2.7 km from Pashupatinath, Swagat homestay offers accommodation in Kathmandu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as room service. For me the best part were Sugat and Roshani, whose Homestay it is. Every morning at breakfast I would speak to one or both of them which made me feel welcome and at ease. It also made it very easy for me to ask any questions I had about for example where to go for a specific bus or place to visit, or even having Sugat help me book the bus to Pokhara. While I was gone for a few days, I could leave my bigger bag at their place. They were a fantastic support! 🙏
