Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. To sum up the Labyrinth Guest House in a single word... Sanctuary. We were able to unwind and relax in a super comfortable room with amazing views out over the garden which features rocky outcrops which adjoin the labyrinth rock special site next door. The spa pool was so relaxing after a long day pf travel and we slept like babies in the quiet room with windows open and cool Takaka breeze. Hosts were perfect, very informative but also respectful of your space and privacy. Having laundry and kitchen facility was added bonus to an already amazing property. We can't wait to return. The owners were also kind enough to let us charge our EV (pre-arranged) which is a tremendous convenience to start the day recharged,

Owners, Elizabeth and Duan made us feel right at home, went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Waitapu Springs B&B is set in Takaka and offers a spa and wellness centre and a shared lounge. This 3-star bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna and hot tub. Everything! Great decor, great staff, great food and great facilities. CATS!

Shady Rest Bed & Breakfast provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchen in Takaka. The property features mountain and garden views. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, and fun to talk with. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, conversation, and the wonderful and varied artwork on the walls. Marc and Janice were the perfect hosts.

Set in tranquil surroundings with beautiful gardens and just 10 minutes' North of Takaka, Patons Rock Beach Villas offers free WiFi and a barbecue. The beach is just a 4-minute walk from the property.... Extremely well appointed, high quality furnishings and fittings right throughout. Classy.

Pohara's Beach House is set in Pohara. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Amazing views, stylish and comfortable. While a small space, it had everything needed and more. I was impressed with the kitchenware which was well-supplied and thought out for use in a small space. There was an inflatable paddle board which is great to take out on a calm morning and watch the dawn from the water. Short walking distance to several restaurants. The host was responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay longer.

Easy check in, beautiful accomodation with all basic necessities provided. Lovely hist and highly recommended to everyone! Such a beautiful spot, can't wait to go again! So good for an easy get away woth friends or family! We felt like we were living in luxury. Excellent service and happy with our stay. Nothing we didn't like. Only thing we would do different next time would be to bring extra blankets as the bunk bedding was beautiful, but some friends got a bit cold. We did have a fire place though to keep us warm! A++++ happy with the beautiful stay!

Seascape Hideaway Pohara is a recently renovated apartment in Pohara, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property has garden views. Host Anne was extremely welcoming.

Drift Off Grid Luxury Eco Glamping features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tarakohe. This is glamping at its best! The tent is so tastefully furnished by the owners, modern yet cosy with all high quality materials. The bathroom is fantastic with double shower, floor heating and white fluffy towels and bathrobes. And then the view, breathtakingly stunning! After a long day of hiking or canoeing you can take a bath next to each other wiith or without a sunset drink. Very special. For the road up the hill there are buggies for guests to use and as these are registered for the public road also possible to take them for a fun ride to the beach. No need to go out for dinner, as there is a Weber grill for outside cooking. For breakfast the fridge was filled with lots of goodies. Definitely a place to come back to and the access to the more quiet part of Abel Tasman NP is only a 15 minute drive away.
