Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Waitapu Springs B&B is set in Takaka and offers a spa and wellness centre and a shared lounge. This 3-star bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna and hot tub. Best B&B I‘ve ever stayed at. Wonderful Spa and nice hosts. Good breakfast too!

Shady Rest Bed & Breakfast provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchen in Takaka. The property features mountain and garden views. Everything about Shady Rest was great. Host is welcoming, informative and a great cook. Breakfast was first rate. Highly Recommend

Pohara's Beach House is set in Pohara. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Amazing views, stylish and comfortable. While a small space, it had everything needed and more. I was impressed with the kitchenware which was well-supplied and thought out for use in a small space. There was an inflatable paddle board which is great to take out on a calm morning and watch the dawn from the water. Short walking distance to several restaurants. The host was responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay longer.

Easy check in, beautiful accomodation with all basic necessities provided. Lovely hist and highly recommended to everyone! Such a beautiful spot, can't wait to go again! So good for an easy get away woth friends or family! We felt like we were living in luxury. Excellent service and happy with our stay. Nothing we didn't like. Only thing we would do different next time would be to bring extra blankets as the bunk bedding was beautiful, but some friends got a bit cold. We did have a fire place though to keep us warm! A++++ happy with the beautiful stay!

Drift Off Grid Luxury Eco Glamping features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tarakohe. Every single detail was considered, which made for a perfect stay. We loved the baths, the golf buggy and the incredibly comfortable bed the most! An absolutely incredible place in an amazing location.
