The little cabins are very cute and have everything you need. WHile they don't have individual bathrooms, the bath building is very close by and provides a private bathroom for your use. The common kitchen building is open and bright and provides a really nice meeting place. Don't hesitate... book this one!

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and more than you could possibly want and it was lovely to have the choice of hot chocolate as I am one of the few who never drink tea or coffee.

The guesthouse was stunning with no detail missed. Robyn prepared lamb shanks for us for dinner and they were delicious. Unfortunately we think we stayed at the best accommodation early in our trip and nothing else will begin to compare. Thanks Robyn!

This is an exceptional property - its location; the peacefulness; the night sky; the cicadas on the verandah supports in the morning sun. Inside it's well equipped and comfortable and our hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming and willing to share their knowledge of the area and its culture without being intrusive.

Hokianga Haven er staðsett í Opononi, 1,8 km frá Opononi-ströndinni og býður upp á veitingastað og sjávarútsýni. We stayed on the basis of self catering. What we loved about the property was that it exceeded our expectations. The position is wonderful with immediate access to the beach. Whilst there are very few facilities for us in this location (it didn’t matter as that’s why we chose to stay there) there was a hotel where we ate it and the two nights we were there and that was extremely good. There was a local shop where we go to get supplies. On a five week trip to New Zealand, this was one of the highlights!
