Il soggiorno in questo campeggio è andato oltre le nostre aspettative: nonostante la struttura fosse molto semplice, ci siamo sentiti accolti benissimo e abbiamo vissuto un'avventura speciale! Abbiamo adorato il giro in jeep tra le dune al calar del sole e la serata intorno al fuoco con Sultan e i suoi amici, dato che questo ci ha permesso di conoscere meglio la realtà omanita. In più il letto era super comodo.

I changed my plan during the stay and he helped me get yo the bus station to go to Muscat. Camp was in a great location. Highly recommend!

Il Nomadic Desert Camp si trova a Al Wāşil. In loco troverete un ristorante e un parcheggio privato gratuito. Al mattino vi attende una colazione continentale o a buffet. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

The camp is on top of a sand dune and has amazing views. You can even enjoy the view on a swing. Very comfortable beds!

Situato a 2,2 km dalla spiaggia di Al Hadd, il Ras Al Hadd Orchid offre una sala in comune, un giardino e sistemazioni climatizzate con patio e connessione WiFi gratuita. Staff super, un tuffo nella cultura omanita. Fawzi è stato disponibile per lunghe chiacchierate, portandoci veramente a capire il Paese. Struttura a 600 metri dalla spiaggia, c'è una persona che monitora la spiaggia di notte; se vede tartarughe avvisa immediatamente lo staff e in pochi minuti si è sulla spiaggia. Noi abbiamo potuto vedere una tartaruga che tornava in mare dopo la deposizione delle uova e una nidiata di tartarughine appena nate che abbiamo anche aiutato a ragiungere il mare per sottrarle ai folti gruppi di gabbiani che aspettano di farne un pasto: emozoine unica!

Super friendly staff. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Many activities for adults and children. After a long day got excellent sleep in the rooms. Food was excellent. Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Campo con solo 3 tende offre un’atmosfera molto tranquilla e rilassante . La tenda deluxe è spaziosa, con arredi tipici e tappeti e con bagno esterno privato. Colazione e cena abbondanti e varie . Personale gentilissimo.
