The host also got up early to make us breakfast since we were leaving for our trek at 6AM. Location is very close to the collectivo points, making it super convenient for us trekkers. The host was very informational, provided us estimates for collectivo prices, found us a garage to leave our car with a competitive price and good food options. The hosts were also able to communicate in English very well and we had no issues with language. The host was also flexible with our stay, as we had to change around dates and she was able to accommodate on the spot. Good Wi-Fi to remotely work, just needed to switch between the available WiFis but worked well.

In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.

Apartamento a 10 min del centro de la ciudad ofrece alojamiento en Huaraz, a 3,4 km de Estadio Rosas Pampa. Hay parking privado en el propio alojamiento. El departamento está muy bien amoblado, es cómodo y lindo. Tiene una cocina super equipada. El barrio es tranquilo. El dpto está cerca a Avenidas principales y a 10 minutos en auto del centro, también hay combis que te dejan cerca al Mercado Central. Fue una estadía increíble, recomiendo mucho.
