The owner Johnny is very contactable, offers great local advice, does tours of the island (which we did and enjoyed) and he’s just a really nice guy. Would deffo stay here again.

This peaceful retreat boasts a large outdoor swimming pool with stunning sea views. Villa U'upa is situated just 10 minutes' from the heart of Uturoa and the ferry terminal. Guests enjoy free WiFi. amazing everything is much better than the pictures, the owners are super nice and make you feel welcomed and part of the place. Just 80 metres from the Lagoon access to Sea view, La maison Du Voyage offers a relaxed tropical haven with free snorkelling equipment. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Located in Opoa, Fare Juanita Piti provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The property features garden views. My husband and I liked the friendliness of the owners. The time they took to explain to us where we have what. The houses are big enough and cute. Very nicely furnished and carefully laid out. By far the best stay in French Polynesia. We got more than we expected.

Located in Uturoa in the Raiatea region, Ohana RBNB studio "Havai " provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I found it very comfortable for a solo woman traveller. The hostess Marie & her husband were also very empathetic seeing I was alone and gave me pizza on my first night. They also bought dinner for me on my last night. Truly recommended & great Wi-Fi, very clean, air con, tv with utube Netflix etc. 100m to Yee Foo Magasin & super comfortable.

The house is spacious with two bathrooms and toilets., The view is amazing, big veranda with table and raised bed, outdoor shower is also a big bonus.,The kitchen have everything you need.The owners Cathy and Ralph are very helpful and nice people! Access with the car is a bit difficult, you have to stop and carry your bags for 20-30 m , but Ralf was there to help for the first and the last day.. Overall , very positive!

Featuring a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and garden views, Fare Tapu is located in Uturoa. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. We have had the warmest Polynesian welcome from Tapu and his lovely family. They were very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed at any time. We also got very good recommendations for activities and restaurants. The accommodation is super clean, modern and with many details and there is a parking on the property. Very safe and beautiful place to stay. We are looking forward to come back one day! Mauruuru roa!

The setting is beautiful in a lush valley, surrounded by trees. The house was perfect for our family of 6 - it was impeccably clean, the kitchen was stocked with coffee etc, the beds were comfortable and the pool was an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying here while on Raiatea.

Steve and Julie were sooo nice. They helped me with everything I was struggling with. Julie is an amazing cook, make sure you book the dinners, too. You can see that she loves what she does.
