The location was off the main road so noise wasn't a problem. The Wifi was recently upgraded to Starlink so it was super fast and reliable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating with lots of helpful suggestions to ensure we were getting the most out of our stay. The room was very large with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was also very spacious.

We absolutely loved the concept of a living room being the center and raison d’etre of the hotel, as it became the place where guests from various countries congregated and got to know each other. The host (Norman) was so accommodating, so gracious, and so incredibly kind. He facilitated the creation of meaningful connections between people—previously strangers and now friends and travel buddies. Really such a lovely place and wonderful experience.

Älskade allt med vistelsen men kanske främst den fantastiska värden som alltid hade ett leende på läpparna (när han fick reda på att vi aldrig smakat papaya fixade han fram en åt oss). The design, the cleanliness, little details… and the breakfast! Also loved that you can have access to the beach via Sandy Feet hotel, which is just across the road. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. I would definitely go back.

Subangan is a nice homestay to stay in your trip to the north of the island. Rooms are spacious and clean. The best thing is the lady that runs it; I left an important thing there and she made the impossible to give it to me before I was leaving the island. Highly recommend!
