This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.

Central Praia Beach ligger ved stranden i Praia da Vitória, 300 m fra Grande Strand og mindre end 1 km fra Small Strand. I hightly recommend this place. It is nicely located, aroud 3 minutes to by walk to the beach, close to all shops and services. street is nice and quiet. Host is supernice and helpful. Apartment is fully new, clean, well equipped. Good water pressure and hot. All dishes which you can need and washing/dying machine. Apartment is not big, but well organiced, you have some privet zone with bed and living room, there are 2 tv.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.
