From the secure entrance to the well-lit common areas (with security cameras), I felt at ease throughout my stay. The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.

Altogether a marvelous 'retreat' for a few days, in exceptionally large and comfortable queen-size bed tents, fully equipped with shower etc. And chef on site prepares breakfasts to die for, delicious lunches (on-site or take-out) and super tasteful wholesome dinners. Not a la carte but make your wishes known and she'll surprise you! Meals are taken under majestic trees and the open sky near an open campfire, an elegantly set table, country-style. A brook is running near, down below in the gorge. Its soft rushing sound soothes the soul and assures a restful sleep. No need to stay awake past 9:30, and while birds might try to awaken you at the crack of dawn, the comfort of your bed will lull you back to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights, there are only three tents, and they are spaced wide apart, so plenty privacy!

Zion Care Homestay está a 10 km de Old German Boma y ofrece alojamiento conbicicletas gratis, jardín y cocina compartida. La habitación en casa particular ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. It was relaxing and wonderful in all meanings. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We really want to come back. Thanks a lot. A wonderful garden and very good food.
