Great location and all the amenities of home. Loved having access to a kitchen and Mychelle was super welcoming and even did our laundry (which was much needed after a week on Oahu first). We had our own bathroom to use and parking was included. It was a great place to set up home base for our stay on the big island.

We picked this place bc it’s close to best snorkeling/ kayaking place in Big Island and is at a good price for this location. We’re really happy that we bumped into this gem. The room is clean with plenty of sunlight and great natural ventilation. The room got everything we need, microwave, small oven, fridge, etc. Showers are nice and warm. The porch has great view to the garden and a little bit of the ocean. During the night, we laid down on the parking lot and watched the sky. So beautiful. Stanley, the host, greeted us upon our arrival. He’s an amazing person. He took us to a tour to Meana Kea summit with much lower cost comparing to other tours. Super comfortable and private ride with hot KONA coffee to help with the altitude climate up at the summit. We didn’t have breakfast but Stanley offered a few complimentary exotic fruits grown at the farm. Super fresh. Before booking I read about the frog sound other people talked about, to us it sounds ok. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. The B&B is in a fantastic location, a very quick walk into town, but with the ocean literally on your doorstep. Our beautiful room backed right on the ocean and it was wonderful going to sleep with the sounds of waves. Every morning the cooked breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the useful shelves in the B&B filled with snacks, useful pamphlets, bug spray and sunscreen. Our hosts were very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations on things to see and do during our stay in Hilo. We would highly recommend a stay here!
