The rooftop balcony is amazing, and the common areas are great, with attention to every detail. The room was really tidy and in excellent condition. Even the breakfast was really good. Amazing value for money. I cannot recommend this hostel enough.

I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!
