The sunny rooms of Casa Das Obras also have modern comforts such as a TV and central heating. We were not aware that Casa das Obras was a 250 year old manor house. It has been sympathetically renovated with beautiful rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. It has impressive reception areas, and multiple cosy rooms for relaxing. It was centrally heated and spotlessly clean. A magnificent buffet breakfast was included. For warmer weather it has a lovely garden with a swimming pool. The host was on site to greet us, and available throughout our stay for anything we required. We would not hesitate to stay again.

It features winter sports equipment for renting, and a restaurant with panoramic views. Very welcoming hosts. Although the room wasn’t huge the balcony was, which made storing our suitcases easy as the weather was fine. The swimming pool looked very inviting. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and for the included breakfast. There is also a comfortable guest lounge.
