Located in the Kana`im Valley, Kfar Hanokdim - Glamping & Camping is set in a Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees. The place is situated in an oasis outside the town of Arad. You get the desert experience, but without giving up the option of a supermarket or other comforts of civilization. cAmEls! If you like camels or one or more of your children like them, this is a great place for you o feed, pet and even ride them. You have an option of sleeping in a Bedouin tent, a hut or even a comfortable modern room. Some guests brought their own popup tents and set them inside the Bedouin tent, to get max privacy and protection from the elements. The oasis is about 20 minutes easy drive from Masada-west, where you can watch the audio-visual show after nightfall.

Incense and Spice Route Inn is set in an isolated place in the desert and offers rooms with access to a shared kitchen and a barbecue. While guests can enjoy star gazing next to the bonfire. Great place, the facility is well taken care of. The room is pretty, great shower with hot water and good stream. The private pool is warm and nice to bath even at night. It’s a real desert experience but with the comfort of a really nice tent. They have spaces for a bon fire and outside kitchen. Good place to see the night sky since there’s no light pollution.

Dead Sea Camping is set in Ein Gedi, within 1 km of The Botanical Garden in Kibbutz Ein Gedi, and offers both Bungalow and empty lots. Guests can use shared toilets and showers at the property. The staff was very cool, friendly, and easygoing! The location was quite good, it's just a shame that the sinkholes now force us to take a 30-45min bus to Ein Bokek to enjoy the Dead Sea. The food and cocktails were good. The views were amazing - since I didn't have a car and the first but to Massada was at 9am, I was happy that I could enjoy the sunrise over Jordanian Highlands from the comfort of my "tent". Recommended!!
