10 of 10! True paradise we are very happy that reached this beautiful place. Great weather, our room, pool, bedroom, location and amazing El Valle beach not far from this spot. Take cash with you because generally on the island not easy to pay with card in hotels.

We came back from Clave Verde feeling grateful. We loved waking up to nature sounds, serene surroundings, fresh juices, and healthy, hearty breakfasts. We enjoyed our morning conversations with Jonathan and greatly appreciated Noemi's recommendations for places to go and her arranging our trip to El Limon waterfall. We decided to have our last dinner at Clave Verde's restaurant, and we regretted not doing that every night; the food was exquisite and made with a lot of love; thank you, Sandra, and everyone in the kitchen. Clave Verde is a short drive to most beaches around. It's a great location if you want to enjoy the day trips yet retreat away from the hustle and bustle in the evening. Please note when you arrive, it is a steep drive up the hill; it helps to have the shift on the 1st gear.
