I had an amazing time in Shiva Lodge. The location is perfect, literally next to the ghats and the main temples, yet in a mostly quiet alley. The room was basic but clean and comfy, hot water was available at all times during my stay (always a luxury in India) and the view from the rooftop was stunning. Last but not least, the family running the place is adorable and makes you feel right at home, far from the scrum outside

The family made me feel like one more of them. Amazing views form the balcony, the food is delicious and affordable and the area is so quiet. The best place I’ve been in India in my 3 months trip!
