Zanbluu had exceptional staff and gorgeous views of the ocean. We loved having our own personal pool and the option to go to the bigger pool and bar. The staff truly brought smiles to our faces during each interaction and we were continuously amazed by the lovely property. The all-inclusive rooms are definitely worth it — we were able to enjoy a variety of food and drinks throughout our 5 night stay. The property is perfectly sized - even with several other guests throughout the property, it still felt very intimate. Also, it was nice to have private beach access rather than going to the main Kiwengwa Beach. We could walk to the main beach very easily during low tide (about 15 min walk), but it is filled with locals trying to sell you things. The private beach at Zanbluu was much more peaceful.

Staying is this hotel was beautiful experience - hotel is located at the very end of beach and gives an escape from bysy Kiwengwa beach. You can relax at hotel and have some fun at the beach - best of both. Infinity pool and view from it was best feature - no other hotel in Zanzibar has view like Shooting Star. Breakfast was good, staff was very welcoming and helpful. If you want peaceful stay, beautiful views and still be close to activities and local restaurants - this is the best hotel. One additional recommendation - when staying at this hotel - have dinner/lunch at Amour restaurant nearby - you will not regret it.

This boutique hotel is situated at a great area and an ideal location allowing easy travel to kendwa/nungwi, Mnemba island and stone town. I felt like I was in Bali being surrounded by so many lush palm trees. I definitely rate it as value for money. The hotel was within less than 5 minutes walking distance to a beautiful beach where I enjoyed a kite surfing lesson. The design of my room was modern and spacious as advertised on the photos. I loved the music on the upper deck during breakfast and dinner that created that positive african energy and vibe. The food was flavourful and tasty. Thank you so much to the kind and friendly staff for making my stay comfortable and relaxed.
