The accommodations were comfortable, cute and had a nice varanda. From your varanda you can easily go to the beach and appreciate the lively nature and marine life. The colors of the ocean are unbelievable!! The Rock was a 3 minutes walk by the beach. Also, the washroom was very clean. The people there were very kind and helpful, making you feel at home. Lastly, the hotel connected us with the best driver-guide, Kassim. We laughed a lot with him and by the end of our stay we already consider him a friend. Also, he knew a lot about the history and culture of Zanzibar, and took us to the best places. One day we swam with dolphins in the open ocean. It was the best experience of my life. I strongly recommend the hotel! You will get an unforgettable experience at a great price!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and kind (they'll even teach you Swahili if you ask 😉). The bungalow felt like a tropical paradise and the location is superb, a short walk to the beach. There's also a friendly pup that hangs around and loves pats. Highly recommend and hope to be back again! Asante sana.

A beautiful oasis in Michamvi. The bungalows, the pool and the beach chairs are a dream. Quiet but still very close to the beach front. Kae Funk Beach Bar and Mangroves Sunset Beach Bar are within short beach walk distance. Lovely and charmingly furnished and operated by a very friendly and welcoming host. Nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended place to stay in Michamvi.

Everything about this lodge was amazing! The area was beautiful. The rooms were simple but nice with a lot of space. The gardens were very pretty and the pool was really refreshing in the evenings. You could hear all the wildlife from bed at night. I didn't walk anywhere, but it was possible to walk/bike to the nearby beaches. The lodge was able to drive us for a cheap price to wherever we wanted to go. They also organized snorkeling trips and boat rides. Plus, I got a free tour when I arrived. I only ate at the lodge and it was perfect. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit. I loved the staff! So friendly. They even brought me fresh cut aloe for my sunburns.

Evergreen Bungalows is a magical paradise with love for the detail. The location and property is truly magnificent and exactly what you want if you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of stone town or nungwi. The staff is wonderful and kind, the restaurant great, and the pole pole island vibe lived to perfection. I would always come back!
