Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. Very cozy cabin with all the facilities we needed and a fireplace! It is placed in the middle of the forest, lots of wallabies around the house AND A WILD WOMBAT!

Offering scenic views of the garden, Tiny Escapes Cradle Valley is set in Moina, 28 km from Dove Lake There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Amazing location! Quiet, pristine woodland with a great view. Wonderful to watch the sun set and sun rise each day. Best views of stars I’ve ever had!

Set 2.2 km from Watcombe Beach, Sunny Gum offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. What a lovely place to stay. Great facilities and an enjoyable location. Plenty of space for the kids to play. They loved the sheep and searching for the platypus. Very clean and tidy with all the items you need for a self contained stay.

Harrison Grove has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Forcett, 32 km from Theatre Royal. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. Quiet surroundings and the fire pit. Close enough to Hobart but still had that country feel.Great selection of breakfast options and the complementary snack basket.

Located in Maydena, Maydena Mountain Cabins offers accommodation with a balcony or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as barbecue facilities.

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and an oven. There is also a microwave, toaster and a kettle. We really liked how the property was so cosy, peaceful and had everything you’d need for an evening of tranquility - down to all the appliances available; for example the slow cooker, electric blankets. Steve gave us a warm welcome, and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. There is nothing we could fault about our stay here.

Located in Moina, Wombat Cabin is a chalet featuring a barbecue. The unit is 20 km from Cradle Mountain National Park. Free private parking is available on site.

Devonport is 62 km from Wombat Cabin, while Penguin is 68 km away. The cabin was comfortable and had all we needed. The wood fire was the highlight after a cold wet day at Cradle Mountain

Located just 50 metres from the Tasman Sea, Saltwater - Absolute Oceanfront, Hot Tubs, Sauna, Fire Pits is set in Falmouth, 7-minutes' drive from Four Mile Creek. Iron House Brewery is 10-minutes' drive away. Free private parking is available on site. Convenient location could see the beach from the villa only a short walk. Villa was exceptionally clean and spacious! Will be back again

The retreat offers a 3-bedroom lodge and a separate cottage. The lodge features a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area with an open fireplace. Relax on your private deck overlooking the bay, complete with BBQ facilities. The en suite bathroom has a free standing bathtub. We stayed in the cottage with spa bath in June 2023. This place exceed our expectations and was in fact the high point of our 9 day trip in Australia. The cottage was on a large property on Bruny Island and was surrounded by flat bushland with a stream, and with a forest on two sides. The cottage itself was very comfortable - an open plan concept with sleeping, living, kitchen and bathroom areas. There was a working fireplace which we used. There was a separate woodshed with pre-cut pieces of wood in case we needed more than what was already in the cottage. The wallabies - so many of them - made the stay even more memorable for us as we love animals. If we didn't startle them, they would come up to the patio just in front of us. Sitting on the patio with a cider in hand watching the wallabies was magical.

The Shingles Riverside Cottages are only a 3-minute drive from New Norfolk town centre. Hobart city centre is just a 35-minute drive away. Nice breakfast provisions, toast, cereal and milk. Beautiful view of the river with patio space to enjoy it. Too bad I’m not a fisher or I would’ve liked to try fishing there. Nice little TV and DVD selection, framed photographic art in room. Comfy room and clean spacious a bathroom.

Oyster Cove Chalet offers spacious guest accommodation, situated on 6 acres of lovely bushland and gardens. All rooms feature a private patio, each with barbecue facilities.

Each room at Oyster Cove Chalet Tasmania features heating and air conditioning. All kitchenettes include an electric frying pan, electric steamer, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. it was very quiet and though close to amenities felt a million miles from anywhere
