Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance. Wonderful cabin, with a fireplace and plenty of wood and fire starter. Right next to the entrance of the park and a few minutes walk to the shuttle to the hikes. Quiet, wallabys and wildlife right outside your windows. Comfy bed. Good wifi. Kitchen had everything you needed. BBQ provided.

A fantastic location, very secluded and quiet. Beautiful scenery and so many lovely walks to go on. Free Laundry facilities available for guests to use. Lovely little amenities including quality shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tea and coffee (really delicious coffee!), hot cocoa, milk etc. They use all 'Zero Co' cleaning products which I absolutely love and they smell divine. Highly recommend! Had mobile boosters in the accommodation too so we got a little reception out there which was good.

Set 2.2 km from Watcombe Beach, Sunny Gum offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The bbq area was awesome, we also appreciated the washing machine set up.

Quiet surroundings and the fire pit. Close enough to Hobart but still had that country feel.Great selection of breakfast options and the complementary snack basket.

Located in Moina, Wombat Cabin is a chalet featuring a barbecue. The unit is 20 km from Cradle Mountain National Park. Free private parking is available on site. The unit is equipped with a kitchen. We had two nights here and really enjoyed it. Remote, off grid, although within view of the road leading into the National Park. Cabin is Tardis like so much more inside that you would expect from outside. Really well-fitted out with much more than usual. Owner provides plenty of extra goodies which help to make sure your needs are met if you haven't read about the lack of local amenities close by. Quiet and peaceful place only sounds are the wind in the trees and the wildlife moving about outside after you have shut up for the night. Great supply of books, games and films to keep you occupied in the evening. Two tables to sit around and the place is well lit. The wood burning stove was very tempting but it was not cold enough to warrant using it. Owner really helpful and lives just down the track. We wish we could have stayed longer as it was an ideal base from which to visit Cradle Mountain.

Located just 50 metres from the Tasman Sea, Saltwater - Absolute Oceanfront, Hot Tubs, Sauna, Fire Pits is set in Falmouth, 7-minutes' drive from Four Mile Creek. Convenient location could see the beach from the villa only a short walk. Villa was exceptionally clean and spacious! Will be back again

Just a minutes’ walk from a beautiful white sand beach, Adventure Bay Retreat Bruny Island offers luxury accommodation. Set on 33 acres of native bush land, guests can enjoy hiking. We stayed in the cottage with spa bath in June 2023. This place exceed our expectations and was in fact the high point of our 9 day trip in Australia. The cottage was on a large property on Bruny Island and was surrounded by flat bushland with a stream, and with a forest on two sides. The cottage itself was very comfortable - an open plan concept with sleeping, living, kitchen and bathroom areas. There was a working fireplace which we used. There was a separate woodshed with pre-cut pieces of wood in case we needed more than what was already in the cottage. The wallabies - so many of them - made the stay even more memorable for us as we love animals. If we didn't startle them, they would come up to the patio just in front of us. Sitting on the patio with a cider in hand watching the wallabies was magical.

Situated in a stunning waterfront location on the banks of the Derwent River, these fully self-contained studios and cottages are set amongst 2 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens. Nice breakfast provisions, toast, cereal and milk. Beautiful view of the river with patio space to enjoy it. Too bad I’m not a fisher or I would’ve liked to try fishing there. Nice little TV and DVD selection, framed photographic art in room. Comfy room and clean spacious a bathroom.

Oyster Cove Chalet offers spacious guest accommodation, situated on 6 acres of lovely bushland and gardens. All rooms feature a private patio, each with barbecue facilities. There was everything you could possibly want for a self catering break. Feeding the pademelons in the garden was a delight for us poms. Great nights sleep - total tranquility!
