The cabañas maria hau are very recommendable! Everything was very clean, just as it appeared in the pictures. The 4 cottages come with a well equipped kitchen and are hidden in a beautiful garden full of flowers and with a lot of shade and privacy for each terrace. I was very glad that the windows are protected with moskito protection screens, so that we had no problems with flys or moskitos! Maria was so helpful with all questions we had at any time of the day. Additionally they picked us up and brought us to the airport. They even organised a guided tour for us from one day to the other, calling all guides they knew. We just felt like part of their family! I would defenitely come back to this beautiful gem on the isla de pascua!!!! Thank you so much Maria and Laura!

Not only for the island being so incredible but also to our apartment and Paulina was the absolute best host you could wish for. Patricia, our host, made this property the best! She was always responsive to my emails and questions, picked us up from the airport and toured us around town to help us locate key sights, and went the extra mile to meet our every need - she even opened her home for me to access the internet for a business meeting. She checked in each day and offered suggestions for whatever we needed or wanted to do. The location is the other great attribute - we were walking distance from just about everything, other than some of the distant ruins. Great restaurants and sights, including the perfect sunset location are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was clean and so comfortable. A great kitchen with the supplies we needed for coffee, tea and simple meals. Loved the upstairs loft bedroom and balcony for morning coffee. Truly a special place and highly recommend it - would stay there again in a minute!

We had beautiful views of the ocean, sunset, and Moai from our cabana. It was an easy walk into town. Miti picked us up from the airport, was our tour guide, and helped us arrange our itinerary. From the moment we met her, it felt like we had a close personal friend on the island!!
