Situé dans des cabanes en bois construites sur des arbres, le Reserva Natural Tanimboca propose un hébergement dans la jungle, à seulement 11 km de la ville de Leticia. Super expérience, la cabane se trouve en plein milieu de la forêt, vous vous couchez et vous vous endormez avec le son des animaux. L’ensemble du personnel est vraiment adorable et très disponible. Attention cela ne s’adresse pas aux personnes qui recherchent une expérience avec du confort sur plusieurs nuits. Il y a simplement le nécessaire, pas d’eau chaude, pas d’eau potable et pas d’électricité dans la cabane. Également sachez qu’il y a 20 minutes de marche pour rejoindre la cabane, ce qui permet d’être isolé dans la forêt. (Ne venez pas en valise) C’est une expérience vraiment incroyable pour tout ceux qui recherchent l’isolement en pleine nature.

When we decided to go to the Amazonas region in Colombia we were hoping for a real jungle experience, to be surrounded by nature and to see animals. But we didn't expect the amazing and unforgettable time we would have at Reserva Tucuchira. To get there by boat and then later walk to the lodge from the river takes a while, but is already an experience in itself as you walk directly into the jungle. We were welcomed very warmly and instantly felt very safe and comfortable. The accomodation is basic (no electricity, shower with saved rain water outside) but that's part of what makes it great and authentic: we had a nice double room with a big bed + mosquito net and waking up with a direct view into the jungle so we could see monkeys from our bed :-). The food is nice and they really tried to make us enjoy our stay (they even made extra veggie options although being a vegetarian is not common in Colombia). We also felt very welcome in the community of Santa Sofia that is the village close to the lodge and the people there told us a lot about their culture as indigenous and how they try to preserve their language and rituals. They even invited us to celebrate new years eve with them in the community. We could really feel how much they love their home and the nature and we fell in love with it too! There are a lot of different tours offered and the guides always take care to give you the best possible experience. Our highlight was camping in the jungle in hammocks where they cooked over the open fire for us as well as going kayaking on the Amazon river to see pink dolphins. If you want to disconnect and really feel what its like to live in the Amazonas this is exactly the right place for you!

Situé à Leticia, le Reserva Natural Natura Park comporte un jardin et une terrasse bien exposée. Le linge de lit est fourni. This place is a beautiful but rustic spot next to the Amazon river. The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.

My cabin was super charming--rustic but comfortable. There were many birds, and occasional monkeys and other cool wildlife, passing through, which I enjoyed immensely. The restaurant on site was great for all meals of the day (breakfast was included, the restaurant was open to the public for lunch, and dinner could be requested), and the food was excellent. There were multiple nature reserves nearby, which were easy to walk to, as was Las Amazonas Balneario-Restaurant (swimming pool & restaurant).

L'Hotel Amazon Bed And Breakfast vous accueille au cœur de Leticia, à quelques minutes des rives de l'Amazone et à la frontière entre la Colombie, le Pérou et le Brésil. The place is really nice and cozy. They have hot water and aircon which is a big bonus in Leticia. The breakfast is very good. Staff was very nice and helpful especially Judy. Location is nice. Not too far from the center but in the quiet area. Definitely recommend.
