The location was amazing. Right next to a little jungle with lots of wildlife. So beautiful to sit there and relax. The restaurant / breakfast place is open to this jungle and has a fantastic view of the volcano. They have 2 feeding stations next to the restaurant and you can watch all kind of birds feeding there. My highlight was a toucan who spent time feeding and sitting there. Beautiful pool area and little ponds to sit by and listen to the birds .

Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails ligger i nationalparken Arenal blot 2,7 km fra Arenal-vulkanen. Great trails, a lot of wild nature right in front of the Hotel :)

La Fortuna Waterfall Bungalows ligger under 2,8 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet og 7 km fra Kalambu Hot Springs i Fortuna. Der tilbydes indkvartering med opholdsområde. Rent, grønt og stille. The stuff was super friendly and prepared the best casado we had during our trip to costa rica (have to try the homemade chilie sauce). Also unexpectedly good was the included free frog spotting tour. Even though the chalets were rather tiny they felt spacious and were indeed very private. This is definitely no 5-Star Hotel but as best as eco-friendly individual tourism could get.

The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

We satisfied because I saw many frogs, snake, spiders and some insects. The morning at the hotel restaurant we saw the birds.

We stayed here in 2 rooms as 2 families of 4. The size was great! We liked that it was off the main road and the kids loved eating breakfast on the balcony each morning. Very comfortable and clean. Hosts were very nice and accommodating
