Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi, Horizon Lodge Potrero provides accommodation in Potrero. All units feature a satellite flat-screen TV, a private bathroom and a fully equipped... They've done a wonderful job with this property! This was our 8th accommodation on this trip to Costa Rica, and it had the best of all worlds. Quiet enough to feel remote, but connected to groceries, gas, and services in town. Fantastic A/C in the common space and both bedrooms. A thorough cleaning job, enough towels for a family of 4 (including pool towels), and a very well-equipped kitchen. The owners were so kind to accommodate early check-in so that our young daughters could get settled; they even brought them a high chair and kids' chairs, which they adored! The view from the pool is gorgeous and we appreciated the little outdoor gym, too. We watched the cleaning team wipe down outdoor railings and dust off loungers. They're clearly taking pride in keeping this place up. We would definitely stay again!

Holger and his family are wonderful and very welcoming hosts! The location of the lodge is also great - all amenities one might need are within walking distance.

Located in San Juanillo and only 1.7 km from Pleito Beach, Chalet San Juanillo provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great. Super comfortable and the owner was incredibly helpful and nice.

This is indeed a hidden gem in Costa Rica. It is a place to rest and disconnect from the rest of the world. The owner and crew are super amazing and very friendly. The breakfast is delicious, it is hand-made and has several options. For lunch and dinner, you can prepare your own food. There is a grocery store 10 min away from the property by car. The property has all kitchen utensils you would need for cooking. There are restaurants around the zone as well. We had the chance of seeing little turtles and an unthinkable and awesome sunset while raining. This was not planned but it might common in that zone.

Guacamaya Lodge has a beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained pool area and grounds, large comfortable rooms with vaulted ceilings, roomy bathrooms with plenty of hot water, to name a few of its wonderful features. Guacamaya Lodge exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and professional, the cocktails in the pool side restaurant were generous and expertly mixed, and the homemade ice cream was decadent and delicious. Guacamaya Lodge is so perfect in itself, and yet, with its location a few hundred yards from a breathtaking, expansive beach, your greatest dilemma will be whether to lounge poolside sipping mojitos, or get some exercise and head to the playa. Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach. A really nice Lodge and super friendly hosts. we stayed with 2 little kids and liked it very much!

Cabañas Cañas Castilla is located on the shores of Sapoa River and 10 minutes’ drive from La Cruz town. It features Orosi Volcano views and one day tours to Nicaragua. We got there around 7 pm, and even though it was very busy, the owners were very gracious and showed us to our room so we could get the kids settled and then checked us in. It's a beautiful property surrounded by plants and wildlife. It's always very clean and the refrigerator is great to have.
