We loved almost everything about this place. We were looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with amazing views. And we couldn’t have found anywhere better on all three counts. Idyllic.

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and... Wow! What a unique and stunning location! I booked a “tent” and was truly amazed at what we got. Sure, it’s technically a tent - built on a beautiful bamboo platform, with a queen size bed, and a dreamy balcony. The view is truly incredible. The entire staff was helpful, SO nice and accommodating. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there and it’s incredibly worth - the attention to detail and use of local ingredients was amazing. The whole ethos of permaculture they establish here is inspiring. I wish I had stayed longer!

Miljövänliga Rancho Margot har en stor trädgård, möblerade terrasser med naturliga pooler och utsikt över regnskogen. Här bor du 700 meter från floden Caño Negro och 3 km från sjön Arenal. Truly stunning place. Next level self sustainable, with their own pigs and chickens, veggies and fruits. Located in a beautiful place, with friendly staff helping you to get there and book additional activities:)

Love Cabin - Arenal Volcano & Lake views har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en terrass och grillmöjligheter, 3,8 km från Sky Adventures Arenal. The view is good. Unfortunately we had clouds in front of the volcano all 4 days :/

Pie in the Sky 1 Gorgeous Cottage ligger i El Fosforo och erbjuder en fantastisk naturskön utsikt samt en utomhuspool. Den luftkonditionerade lägenheten ligger 13 km från Fortuna.
