The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

The nearest airport is Captain Manuel Niño International, 52 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. If you love nature and want to feel next to it then this is your place. It’s beautiful. Owners are lovely and helpful and leave you to get on with your stay or are there if you need them.

Gorgeous grounds, private and secure location close to beach. The owners obviously love their home and were eager to point out animals to us.

The breakfast ($10 per person) was delicious and included toast, fresh juice, rice, eggs, pancake, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. This place is a gem. Thanks for having us!

Alberto was a perfect host, and Playa Grande was the most pleasant and comfortable place we stayed during our travels through the country. It felt like a home away from home. We slept so well, the breakfast was always wonderful, and Alberto was so helpful in providing us with tips and information on where to go and what to do. The entire property was beautiful, and our room was so peaceful and pretty. If I ever go back to Costa Rica, I plan to stay here again.
