This house exceeded all our expectations.

It was like a boutique resort with super friendly staff, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and more! Would highly recommend staying here.

Offering panoramic ocean views, Ecolodge Tubagua Puerto Plata is set in Tubagua, 18 KM from Puerto Plata city, airport and beaches. Sosua and Cabarete are less than an hour's drive. Beautiful location, well-equipped houses, very clean everywhere, nice staff, and delicious food!

Our room overlooked the water (stunning view), with unique outside bath and shower attached to our room. We found it perfect and could not imagine a better choice for the casual traveler. Breakfast was included in the room date and served on the beach. What a way to start our day. We opted to also eat dinner there and it was fantastic. The cook put out an array of delicious meals. I’ll save my best and final comments for the Lodge Manager (Janine). Personable, warm, charming, welcoming and absolutely tireless. She made our stay both memorable and enjoyable. What an asset!
