We booked 6 nights in December at the Raja Ampat Eco Lodge. The lodge was fantastic! The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, seating and dining areas and nice lighting. While there isn't air conditioning, the breeze coming from the sea and the large quiet fan made it easy to sleep at night despite warm temperatures. We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or other bugs either. The food was delicious and varied each day. We loved the fresh juices, curries and vegetables. The house beach is beautiful and the reef has a good variety of fish. We even saw an octopus a couple of times! The owners are lovely and the service provided by the team is professional and kind.

TABARI DIVE LODGE ligger i Pulau Mansuar og har havudsigt, restaurant, fælles køkken, bar, have, terrasse og grill. Der er eget fuldt udstyret badeværelse med bruser og hårtørrer. This was the last of 5 homestays during my 3 weeks in RA and I was totally impressed! The island is tropical bliss and the bungalows are immaculate, nicely furnished with comfy bed and pillows, bathroom with running water and terrace with stunning views of Batanta. The Papuan artwork is a nice touch and you can feel the love that has gone into creating this place. Brigitte and Jeff are fantastic hosts, very friendly and down to earth people and I really enjoyed being their guest! Sharing meal times and excursions with some of the other guests was a real treat and I will always remember the amazing Batanta waterfall hike with the hosts' fun loving friends from France! Although this is a dive lodge, it is just as good for non divers like me. The house reef is excellent for snorkeling and you can have the island to yourself when most of the guests go diving for the day. The food was wholesome and tasty, cooked and served in the beautiful overwater restaurant with sharks sometimes cruising underneath. The young ,happy and fun loving staff are an asset to this place and it was a pleasure getting to know some of them! This is quality accommodation in a gorgeous RA setting and with all meals included it is also value for money! Loved my stay and hope to visit again for longer

We spent 5 days in Methos Homestay and we felt in paradise. The location is simply amazing, you can see a wonderful sunset and dolphins from the bungalow's terrace and the coral reef just in front of is rich and healthy. The staff is lovely, there are all local people and they are shy and kind. The food is simple but well coocked, the room is clean and nice. An added value are certainly the excursions offered, we did every day a different tour to discover Raja Ampat. Our guides gave us some amazing snorkeling. We loved the possibility to visit the village near the homestay to know a little the local culture.

Daroyen Village ligger i Kri og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi samt have med terrasse og havudsigt. Der er grill på stedet. Herman and his family are wonderful people. They took care of us like we were their family. The lady cooked for us and her pancakes were famous. Everything we wanted to see, Herman took us there. We felt safe with them.

Aldejus Homestay ligger i Yennanas Besir og tilbyder indkvartering med balkon. Der er eget fuldt udstyret badeværelse med bidet og gratis toiletartikler. Love the terrace with a comfortable hammock and sufficient lighting for reading at night, and a fresh water source outside each bungalow to clean my dive gear and clothing—such great conveniences! This seems obvious but this combination was not available at two other places I stayed at, one of which was more expensive too. The room size is great, the bed is comfortable with a mosquito net, there is a fan and there are shelving and a lockable cupboard for valuables. Indoor attached bathroom (I love the stones in the design and a divider between shower and toilet) and hot shower at night are luxuries at this location and price point. Diving with Tarzan-Diving was great and their daily pickup and drop-off to and from dive shop on Gam was convenient and well priced. It was nice to have a bit more comfort while still being able to dive around Kri, and not having to stay at more basic accommodations in order to do so. The owner put a lot of thought and care in attending to details and was really super accommodating in helping with everything I needed, including providing me with a charging station when I brought an adaptor that didn’t work, and going fishing so we had fresh fish for our meals. I had a wonderful stay!
