We booked 6 nights in December at the Raja Ampat Eco Lodge. The lodge was fantastic! The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, seating and dining areas and nice lighting. While there isn't air conditioning, the breeze coming from the sea and the large quiet fan made it easy to sleep at night despite warm temperatures. We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or other bugs either. The food was delicious and varied each day. We loved the fresh juices, curries and vegetables. The house beach is beautiful and the reef has a good variety of fish. We even saw an octopus a couple of times! The owners are lovely and the service provided by the team is professional and kind.

TABARI DIVE LODGE er staðsett í Pulau Mansuar og býður upp á sjávarútsýni, veitingastað, sameiginlegt eldhús, bar, garð, verönd og grill. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með sturtu og hárþurrku. We had an incredible stay @ Tabari. As soon as we arrived on the island we felt we were in paradise and our host Brigitte made us felt we part of the family right away. Her team were extremely friendly and always smiling even if we did have a language barrier. Being far away from the mainland we thought food quality would of been mediocre, not at all, we actually gain weight during our stay, be ready to eat !!! Of course the diving was spectacular and well directed by our dive Master Eddy. We also did a few excursions that were all organized . On our departure day, all the staff that was on duty came to say goodbye, what a nice way to thank the guests. We’ve made the right choice by staying @ Tabari Dive lodge. Methos Homestay - Raja Ampat í Yennanas Besir býður upp á gistirými, garð, verönd, einkastrandsvæði og grillaðstöðu. A truly hidden gem between the mangroves!! I did several tours like the Birds of Paradise, Pianemo, Gam Bay & Manta point which were incredible! I did manage to see a few Birds of Paradise, they were quick to fly as soon as we saw them, but they look beautiful in flight too. At the homestay there is Cuscus animal as a bonus too. I saw multiple manta's and had an unforgettable experience! The bungalow was pretty and very clean with good quality soft pillowcases & batik sheets. Love the hammock on the veranda and stair into the water. I saw dolphins and turtles passing by in front of my bungalow! The lady's (Oci & Jacomina) bring 3 times a day your meals on your private veranda. The food was more than enough and very tasteful. Communication leading up to the trip was fast and informative, when there I met with Methos and he ensured everything ran smoothly for me and put me on the tours. Boat pick-up/drop-off were both perfect, thanks to the guys. It really is a special place, and I would return in a heartbeat! I also got to know nearly all of the local children and met the learning center teachers (Child Aid Papua) who do an amazing job. Thanks to Methos Homestay for the best experience :)

Daroyen Village er staðsett í Kri og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og garð með verönd og sjávarútsýni. Smáhýsið er með grill. Herman and his family are wonderful people. They took care of us like we were their family. The lady cooked for us and her pancakes were famous. Everything we wanted to see, Herman took us there. We felt safe with them.

Love the terrace with a comfortable hammock and sufficient lighting for reading at night, and a fresh water source outside each bungalow to clean my dive gear and clothing—such great conveniences! This seems obvious but this combination was not available at two other places I stayed at, one of which was more expensive too. The room size is great, the bed is comfortable with a mosquito net, there is a fan and there are shelving and a lockable cupboard for valuables. Indoor attached bathroom (I love the stones in the design and a divider between shower and toilet) and hot shower at night are luxuries at this location and price point. Diving with Tarzan-Diving was great and their daily pickup and drop-off to and from dive shop on Gam was convenient and well priced. It was nice to have a bit more comfort while still being able to dive around Kri, and not having to stay at more basic accommodations in order to do so. The owner put a lot of thought and care in attending to details and was really super accommodating in helping with everything I needed, including providing me with a charging station when I brought an adaptor that didn’t work, and going fishing so we had fresh fish for our meals. I had a wonderful stay!
