Great place to stay in an even better location just next to the nature! We stayed with my wife for two nights in their beautiful forest room “Skogar”, a wooden fully equipped private room with private bath. Very clean, with comfortable beds. We managed to cook our dinner and also prepared our breakfast in the kitchen. Lastly, the hosts were so friendly and kind that we thought we have been staying in our home place! Many thanks to Isabelle and her husband for their hospitality! It was a pleasure to meet you!

On the eastern edge of Vatnajökull National Park in the Icelandic Highlands, this hostel has nature baths and a café on-site. Even though we did not pre-book dinner, we got a very tasty dinner on demand, which is not usual for this location. Very kind personnel, calm location, good rules about taking off shoes. The hot tubs are just great. Very good breakfast.
