Boasting a view of Mt. Fuji from the property, Orange Cabin offers comfortable accommodation furnished with light-wood décor. I booked a stay for 3 people at Villa Orange Cabin for my first trip to Kawaguchiko. At first I had worries about the location, which seems far from the station, but booked anyway for the Mt. Fuji view. Turned out the location isn't that bad, about 5-10 minutes walk from the closest Sightseeing Bus station. There are also free shuttles to/from the villas to Kawaguchiko Station that you can arrange with the receptionist beforehand. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, especially in the evenings. The view was marvellous — though it rained a lot and we couldn't see the mountain, on the last day it was clear and sunny. We woke up to Mt. Fuji in front of our bedrooms and it felt surreal watching the light change against the mountain and sky. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and full of amenities, perhaps even more than the average hotel. I especially love the tatami room and Japanese bath. We were assisted by super helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay. Special thanks to Masumi-san for picking us up from the station and dropping us off there after checking out! ✨ I highly recommend Villa Orange Cabin if you're looking for a peaceful, local experience at Kawaguchiko with your family and friends.

Log cabin rental & Finland sauna Step House offers simple accommodations located only a 5-minute drive from Lake Yamanakako. The owner had renovated as if he was staying, so it’s well though through and his passion in the interior and appliances is very visible.

The size of the land was just incredible. They have many fruit trees in the yard that guests can pick and enjoy. And an option to have barbecue too with extra fee which we did and enjoyed. The indoor was pretty too, the furniture and utensils were of great quality, I love the feeling of the wooden floor, tables and chairs, the sofa was so comfortable, we took turn napping on it. The house was decorated with the hosts' artwork, which we love, they are absolutely beautiful. We also left behind something important, and the host went the extra mile to have it ship to us, for which we are so grateful. This is also the only place we have stayed that have literally everything. They provide laundry nets, cleaning supplies, and zip logs, which all came in handy.

Situated in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi region, Forest Cottage kiki features a balcony. This lodge features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Wonderful place to stay for a group of people. 2 bedrooms, one common room, kitchen, toilet, shower, garden with table, parking. Very clean, very well equipped. The owners are very nice. Highly recommended ! The access road is a bit complicated, but this is the price to pay to be in the middle of the forrest.

Located 16 km from Isawa Hot Spring, Loof Glamping offers a bar, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The location was a bit far off from the main sightseeing area, but it makes for a fantastic glamping experience. Both breakfast & dinner were excellent, with the experience to make our own meals + even roast our own coffee beans! The staff on site are friendly and helpful which contributed to our memorable time at Loof Tiny House. Thank you so much!

Located in Hokuto in the Yamanashi region, Alps Lodge & Spa is 240 metres from Jindai Cherry Blossom Tree and features free WiFi. The property has mountain views and is 13 km from Heidi's Village. Beautiful landscape in a quiet and relaxing area. Good location with supermarket 7km drive away, and 30 minutes drive to Fujimi panorama resort. Hot tub is refreshing after a day in the snow. Good size for a small group.
