O Manthally Cabanas disponibiliza cabanas artesanais únicas numa selva, apenas a 2,4 km da bela Praia de Narigama e a 3,2 km da Praia de Hikkaduwa. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.

Very relaxing room, close to everything but still away from the shops and restaurants noise. I highly recommend! The host was also very caring and made very nice breakfast.

Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

We had a very nice stay. The propery is unique and picturesque. The host was very helpful and arranged a perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Must book when in unawatuna.

Our stay at Ocean Pearl Cottage was absolutely fantastic. It was characterized by top-notch quality that made us feel as though we were sleeping in a hotel rather than a guest house. Our room and bathroom were all spacious, immaculate, and so pretty, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable, to the point where saying we loved it would be an understatement. I cannot say enough good things about the owner here! When Sam, the owner of this guest house, is away working on a ship for extended periods each year, his friends step in to manage the property in his absence. We were fortunate to meet Sam, who proved to be the most exceptional host throughout our 2 1/2-month trip through Sri Lanka. Sam is incredibly kind and always goes the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of your stay is flawless. The breakfast was truly exceptional. Each morning, we were treated to a diverse spread that included fresh juices that were simply fantastic. He even provided vegan options for me, which I found to be not only delicious but also greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, I was already struggling with a dry cough, and he prepared an ayurvedic drink to help me feel better - showing his thoughtfulness and care in a way that meant a lot to me, especially because I did not ask for that. Throughout our stay, the owner was incredibly attentive and funny, always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed engaging in conversations with him about life, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we will always remember fondly. He even cleaned our room after a few days without any additional charge, providing fresh towels, and allowing us to use his fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, he offered us the use of his scooter for touring around at no cost. And that's not all - he even cooked dinner for us three nights in a row, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight.

The accommodation was very comfortable and quite worth the price. The people running the villa and incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so delightful. You can also rent a scooter from them!
