The room was awesome. Bathroom outdoor was really nice. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to spend time in Sigiriya and the temple caves. You can also relax on the pool and the food at the hotel was really good, breakfast was super. The personnel working at the hotel were really kind and helpful.

Nice View Lodge er staðsett í 1,6 km fjarlægð frá Sigiriya Rock og býður upp á gistingu með garði og sólarhringsmóttöku, gestum til þæginda. Such a lovely hotel! It was just 2 rooms in a peaceful area of Sigiriya but not too far from the Main Street. The people running this place were so lovely and accomodating. The breakfast was outstanding. Took had good AC and a ceiling fan.

Back of Beyond - Pidurangala er staðsett í náttúrulegu landslagi og býður upp á friðsælt athvarf í Sigiriya. Best place For pidurangala rock climbing, we have stay in cottage. So close to landmarks. Arrange tour with Guide was good. Food was delicious. Birds and Nature, great place! Not scarry for bugs :)

The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

I give a 10 not for the accommodation, which was really simple, but for the real and raw experience of living a couple of days together with Niro, Umanga and their family. We saw the beautiful sides as their hospitality, the stunning nature, good organic food. But we also saw the struggle and need for financial support as they lost their original land (some photos are still from the old land) and termites are breaking their home. They have good intentions, trying not only to help themselves, but having worked together with the school in the village and helped people build their homes. Right now they need help on their own home. So if you'd like to get to know them and support them, come and check out their place.

Super comfortable, perfectly clean and In the perfect location for Sigiriya Rock - right around the corner. The staff were super helpful with everything we needed and it was a great atmosphere. Had a really good breakfast included.

Incredibly kind family owners-I arrived super early having cycled there, they served me a delicious breakfast and got my room ready ASAP. Location is fab-you can enter Sigiriya rock via a back entrance (but it might be worth getting your entry ticket on your way to hotel as its a bit of a walk to the ticket office (inside the museum) once you are at the hotel. Easy walk into town/ restaurants. Room is basic but super clean,mini fridge, kettle provided and outdoor seating. All set in lovely garden.

The Homestay experience was really good, the hosts were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The room itself was spacious and clean, the surroundings are beautiful with a nice view of the rock and paddy fields all over , and a nice lake a couple of minutes away. The food was absolutely delicious, I had dinner and breakfast, the curries were simply superb , varied and home style. All in all a very good, comfortable and enriching stay
