A small number of beautiful lodges in beautiful green surroundings. Everything fits together perfectly and is of good quality. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. The food is more expensive than outside but it is simply fantastic. We had one of the best vegetarian curry selection cooked after our preferences. The breakfast is also really good.

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. Great experience for nature lovers. Tree house in the forest. Outdoor (but private) shower with hot water. Great staff, great food, great location, few minutes from Sigriya, which allow to start the climbing early in the morning before it getting too crowded. We loved it!

The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

When we were stuck Sadeepa came and directed us to the place quickly. ⁃ Sadeepa helped us find a nice local national park mineera (only half an hour away by car) where we could get a safari experience and see nature in its natural form. ⁃ stellar service while only being one call away. ⁃ The whole family including the grandparents came and greeted us when we were leaving, it really made us feel like we were at home. Overall, it’s a 10/10 for my family and I. It was a wonderful experience and we would love to come again.
