Mamas home cooked food was delicious and Chamara gave us an interesting tour through the rainforest. We have been sad to leave and absolutely recommend that place.

From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Beyond the culinary delights, our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

Limpieza 10/10 y la atención espectacular, pudimos tambien rentar con el alojamiento moto lo cual fue muy conveniente y tambien tuktuk. La familia es encantadora y tienen mucha predisposición a ayudarte con lo que necesites. La cocina y habitacion muy comodas. El aire acondicionado de la habitacion funciona perfecto y la ducha tiene buena presion
