Their food feom the garden and they are superb and best rice and curry ever had in srilanka. Lovely host and his tours are best. If you want a guide he will does it. ( if you have extra money. You can get a revanue by investing this place and own a srilankan business)

The guest house is built on a steep forested slope adjacent to a beautiful waterfall. It is surrounded by forest vegetation and creatures, and the lovely host will look for things to show you and tell you about. Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya. Rain Forest Mount lodge is located opposite the main Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. Exceptional homestay. We had a stunning view from our bungalow . The family was very welcoming and made us feel at home . Mamas home cooked food was delicious and Chamara gave us an interesting tour through the rainforest. We have been sad to leave and absolutely recommend that place.

Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

The people working on the property always made sure I have a good time and feel comfortable during my stay. This place is like a dream. You sit on your own balcony surrounded by views of rain forest, mountain tops, birds in all colours. The extremely friendly host family prepares tasty sri lankan food, offer you fruits from their own garden - they have ALL sorts of interesting fruits depending on season. They show you around their tea plantage and all in all just makes you feel good. The cabana (cottage) has all basics and is very clean. This is not luxury, but I personally didn't miss anything. My best recommendations!
