This is one of the best places we stayed ever! Definitely worth 10/10 in Booking.com ranking. Quiet, isolated area, stunning view all over the mountains from the altana and dining room. Perfect home made food (big portions!). But - it all depends what you need. You will like this place as we do only if you want to escape from the touristic, crowded areas looking for tranquility and nice people. This is not the place you will have easy access to the restaurants, shops and other city attractions. The road to get there is also a bit tricky to navigate and takes a while to get there from the center of Mojkovac. The accomodation in bungalows simple, but not overpriced. But the view, atmosphere, idyllic surroundings and warm welcome by the host is unbeatable. And the owner resembles famous French actor Jean Reno :) Travel tip: you can consider going by train from Mojkovac to Virpazar and back (just drive 4 km down the road and leave your car on the free parking at the station). Such excursion will offer 2 big attractions: visiting Shkodra Lake (enough time to hire a boat or organized boat trip) plus travel by train itself along the most spectacular railway in Balkans. Doable in one day without rush, just take the train from Mojkovac to Virpazar not later than 7.00 AM.

But I missed out doing so as I didn't had much time to relax. The morning fog wouldn't let me to do so. Never mind, next time.

El Koliba Coric es un alojamiento independiente con terraza y vistas a la montaña situado en Mojkovac. El establecimiento se encuentra a 10 km del parque nacional Biogradska Gora. The wooden house is very well equipped, the shower works perfectly, the bed is very comfortable; the place is really quiet and pleasant. And the top of the top is Natasha's breakfast with her homemade bread and the best raspberry juice I have ever had. Do not hesitate to take it on the small covered terrace behind the house: the view of the mountain is magnificent.

El enclave y la atención personal de la familia que te hospeda. Te dan de comer de la propia leche que ellos ordeñan, y es maravilloso.

Cute, comfortable cabin in the nicest nature setting. Quite, away from it all, yet super close, too. Andrea (the host) is amazing. She was a quick and good communicator, was helpful in helping me make my way to the cabin in the dark, have me great ideas for restaurants, and had a for going in the wood stove so I arrived to a toasty cozy room upon arrival. And she was super helpful even AFTER I left with finding things. And, the parking was right in front (sometimes hard to find traveling around Albania).

Eco Village & Chalets Green Heaven está en Mojkovac, a 48 km de Puente de Đurđevića Tara, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con terraza. The view was amazing! The cabin is beautiful with a very well stocked kitchen, great beds, the sauna is amazing and easy to use, and the outside facilities were great too! My kids loved the outside play area, the porch and the chairs were really comfortable. And the fire pit was great! We also loved how close it was to the national park and the little markets, while still feeling private and away from the main parts of towns and busy roads.

The family that run Bungalov Scepanovic are so nice! They made us feel amazingly welcome and cooked us the most delicious breakfast! Thank you so much for looking after us and picking us us from the train station!

We had a lovely time in the tree house. Super cozy. The whole site is great, very well structured, its owned by a very nice family. They offer good homemade food in the place and we wil recommend to others for sure.

Katun Lanista-Kolibe Bogavac está en Mojkovac y ofrece vistas a la montaña, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. I have stayed in Katun Laništa for 3 night in the beginning of May. The Katun is only accessible by walking or 4x4 as it is located in the mountains, but since I had a normal car and a suitcase, the hosts can offer you a ride in their 4x4 jeep to the katun from their house in the village. My stay in Katun Laništa has been wonderful. As it was the start of the season, they were still preparing the Katun but that did not bother me at all. The hosts are super friendly and provide you with everything you need. The food is amazing, and the home grow and home cook everything here. The Katun has a lot of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses and pigs) which makes it even more fun to stay here. The Katun is located within fields filled with wildflowers and the mountain views are spectacular! I was really able to calm down here. I spent my time reading in the hammocks, hiking to Biogradsko Jezero and in the woods surrounding the Katun. In short, I would recommend everyone to come here, at least have some food but even better stay a few nights.
