The village has a bus that goes to town and then you can also visit the lovely coastal town of Herceg Novi. Ethno Village is the nicest cabin I have ever stayed. The location is incredible: it’s in the grove of olive trees and in walking distance from Ulcinj. We loved the outside terrace. It was very private, although it’s next to the main road. The room is very tastefully decorated and clean.

You wake up in the cosy sailing-style wooden chalet, go outside, and jump into the beautiful river of Buna (Bojana)! Your terrace turns out to be your private small pier:) You are swimming ten meters ahead and see the river mouth to the sea - just a few hundred meters down the river:)! Isn't it a paradise on Earth? For us, it was! Seven minutes by foot to the nearest quiet sandy beach with bars and restaurants. Ten minutes by car to the long set of kitesurfing spots. Live it up!

O Congo Bungalow é um chalé localizado directamente no Rio Bojana, em Gornji Štoj, uma aldeia no sudoeste de Montenegro. The Congo Bungalow exceeded our expectations. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Although it was off-season, the property was maintained as if it were a hotel with guests and cleaning staff circulating all the time. The property had beautiful patio furniture and the indoor amenities were plentiful (i.e. kitchen was stocked, bathroom was stocked, laundry room was stocked, etc.) The tranquility of this location is unbeatable - especially since the area is considered a quiet zone. The extra blankets in the bedrooms were perfect for putting on our laps as we read our books on the beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Also, as a note - please make sure to communicate with the host on how to arrive to the location. It was a little tricky going under the bridge where it felt like we were going in the wrong direction, but obviously we weren't.

The view from the cottage takes your breath away whenever you look out the window especially from the upper floor. The cottage is very chic, stylished and there is nothing missing. Dinner can be prepared easy, it is a very good and fast stove, a large refrigerator and even the crockery is carefully chosen. The road to the cottage also offers thrills, but it's worth every kilometer for the view it offers. The host is the most wonderful and friendly person. She helped us with everything we needed, gave us recommendations where to eat very tasty and trips in the area. She also spoiled us with surprises for which we thank her very much. Everything is wonderful and I recommend this cottage like a fairy tale!
