The hotel is impeccably clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The location is amazing, offering breathtaking views, and the food was delicious. With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available. Superb location with views of the canyon. Loved our stay and wished we could if stayed another night. The hot water bottle was a perfect touch to the very cold night.

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a balcony overlooking the Gurib River bed. I loved Alte Kalkoefen! The sleeping lodges were beautiful and overlooked the savannah with constant wildlife moving through. The food was also great, I would absolutely recommend signing up for dinner and breakfast while staying here, relaxing at this lodge was a highlight of my trip!

This is a gem. Magical place. Amazing views. Great energy from amazing team that runs the lodge. History and hospitality in a completely unique setting. We loved it. Pictures are not showing all the beauty. Stargazing, drinks at the pool and lovely views. Orange river and the desert in a combo. Eco luxury at its best!

With garden views, Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse is set in Stamprivier and has a restaurant, an ATM, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is offered. Fabulous place! We so enjoyed the amenities and the fabulous restaurant: the staff are very friendly and efficient; the food (for vegetarians) was delicious and the accommodation was very comfortable!

Felix Unite Provenance Camp situated in Noordoewer overlooks the great Orange River. It features a restaurant and WiFi is available in the business centre. Fabulous view of the river. Stylish use of local materials in the buildings. attractive gardens. Good food.

Providing mountain views, Kanaan Desert Retreat in Helmeringhausen provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. It is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The landscape is fantastic, the staff is really nice and healthful and the food was amazing. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Kalahari Game Lodge is located on the C15, just 20km from the Mata Mata Border post between Namibia and South Africa. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and on site restaurant. We stayed for 2 nights and just loved it. The lodge appears to be pretty new. The rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern style with everything you need, incl. a fridge. Nice terrace for watching the animals, comfortable beds and excellent food at a very reasonable price. We had breakfast & dinner twice and it was really very good. The lion tracking tour lasted for more than 3,5hours as it was difficult to find the lions. We saw 3 females and 1 male, it was worth it! Best out of 16 accommodations on our trip, highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at Torgos Lodge. The location was perfect for us to visit the Kgalagadi TNP as day visitors every day via the Mata Mata border post. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife along the dry riverbed. Jaco was a gracious host, looking after us carefully, and Mariam & Sonnety kept us well fed with delicious food. Thanks to them and the team. All in all excellent hosts that really added to the experience - we’re counting down the months until we can return!
