The Jungle has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Mérida, 2.9 km from Maderas Volcano. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or lake views. Maykel and his family were so so hospitable. My room was incredible and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the lake and volcano concepcion. The sunsets there are amazing! The food was delicious and affordable. Could not have asked for a better holiday experience in Ometepe. Thanks Jungle family :)

With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Mérida and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Ryan and Angela were incredible hosts, with really helpful contacts and plans to spend a wonderful and efficient stay. La finca is a place that seems out of Disney with butterflies, birds, and even monkeys. The food is great. Go there without hesitation !

Boasting a permaculture farm and exotic edible fruit forest, La Bambouseraie, is set in Balgue, within 16 km of Maderas Volcano. A balcony with garden views is offered in each unit. Absolutely fantastic, staff were lovely and very friendly, breakfast was great and had a different special every morning. The cabanas were very secluded and you really felt you were in the middle of jungle. We extended our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Free WiFi access is available in public areas of this lodge. we loved the location on the edge of the cloud forest. we loved listening to the howler monkeys and birds in the morning.. the large eating living space with open sides and palm tress roof was beautiful and perfect for our family of 3 generations. Great food, incredibly efficient we will be back

Maderas Volcano is 6.3 km from the lodge. everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing

The location and atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, a stunning place to watch the sunset. It is very handy to be able to rent a moto there as you will end this to get around.

Located in Altagracia, 600 metres from Santo Domingo Beach, Beach cabin ometepe provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a garden and a bar. The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.

With Maderas Volcano reachable in 13 km, Finca Magdalena Eco Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. I really loved my stay at Finca Magdalena. It is so peaceful and quiet there. The rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony just amazing. There are lovely hiking trails in the woods. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back.
