The apartment was luxurious with all the required amenities. Very close to Taupo City center. The owners are curteous and always available if you need something. We highly recommend this property. Boasting mountain views, Whakaipo Bay Cabin Retreat Taupo features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 32 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. We cooked our own food and everything we needed for that was available. We loved the privacy and the whole space was just so comfortable I could have stayed for a week!

Tongariro Adventures The Lodge is set in Kuratau. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Great place to stay! Location amazing and Barb & Mike are the best hosts you could ask for! Couldn’t have done more for us.

The breakfast foods are provided at your arrival and refreshed as needed. The quality, range and amount are exceptional. Welcoming Afghan biscuits were very nice too. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. The grounds are spectacular. The view from the cottage is magnificent. All up, one of the nicest places I have stayed.

I like spacious living room area, big backyard, beautiful view scenery from the balcony. Overall an amazing house.

The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.

Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.
