Although I felt like I was prepared for the climb up to the cell, it was far more difficult than I expected. Some sections turned out to be rock climbing, not hiking. However, the professional support and gentleness from the guides made the climb possible for me. I feel so grateful for their kindness and hard work. Will come back one day with stronger limbs;)

From the moment I checked in, I noticed the warmth of Claudia and Rudi to make sure we were happy. The firepit, the BBQ, and the wine for dinner were just amazing. On top of that, Tupac the llama-dog was so fun. He surely contributes to making everyone happy by being such as lovely pet. I highly recommend the Spirit of the River lodge.

I loved the unique experience of a cliff side hotel experience. It was a one in a lifetime experience everyone should try if in Cusco/ Sacred Valley area! The hot tub was an extremely nice touch to disguise the fact that you are on a cliff! employees were friendly and fun! Food was served amazingly by the porters and friendly attitude.
