We loved the warm and traditional welcome awaiting us on this family island in Uros. Carlos and Mirabel went out of their way to make us feel at home. We liked the food and appreciated multiple duvets on the bed and hot water bottles at nighttime. Carlos and his brother Brandy were informative and knowledgeable about the real life of the Uros people and we still have no idea how Mirabel made such wonderful food in such a tiny kitchen.

El Uros Samarana Uta Lodge dispone de solárium y vistas a la montaña y está situado en Puno. El lago Titicaca queda a 7 km. Cesar and Lucy were great hosts. Cesar gave us a very nice tour around his community and answered lots of our questions. He also took us to his son's school to pick him up. We saw how the elementary school was run in the community and got to meet the children and teachers, which was a very unique and memorable experience. Lucy fed us really well with different kinds of food, including trout, chicken and fruits. The view was amazing from our room. We saw some pink and purple thunderstorm at night. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. It was cold at night and hot in the middle of the day, so prepare to wear layers. The room has a gas powered heater and thick blankets, which kept us warm at night. Instead of paying money to a tourist agency, we paid directly to the host. We were happy that we could support locals in this way, as their economy heavily relies on tourism.

El Uros Summa Paqari está situado en la isla flotante de Uros, en Puno, a 7 km del lago Titicaca. El puerto de Puno está a 5 km. Todas las habitaciones disponen de baño privado. The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

El Uros Qhantany Lodge está situado en el lago Titicaca, en las islas flotantes de los uros, a 5 km de la costa de Puno. La costa de Puno queda a 30 minutos en barco. Lovely experience for one night. We had lunch and dinner, plenty of tasty food. Just be aware to bring cash- it’s not possible to pay with card, and there are also some extra fees- like transfer from the city, or entrance to Titicaca lake

Uros Titicaca coila lodge, que tiene jardín, terraza y restaurante, dispone de alojamiento en Puno con wifi gratis y vistas a la ciudad. Este lodge con aire acondicionado ofrece alojamiento con... Everything. The location was incredible, but what I liked the most was the host- I felt like staying in a family and would have wished to stay longer. Us Pagara. :)
