I highly recommend you stay here if you in the area. If you have the option, choose the suite. It is huge and had the best bed ever. Every detail was carefully thought out. The grounds are spectacular. I spent two days photographing the beautiful birds.

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

The pool was a great sport to relax after a week and a half on safari. Rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. The food was fantastic and the staff (Noyle) made sure we had amazing food for breakfast and dinner.
