We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. Located in Karatu, The Retreat at Ngorongoro provides accommodation with free WiFi. Complimentary private parking is available on site. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony. The property was exceptional with amazing landscaping, facilities and five star hospitality. The staff were warm and welcoming. I will not hesitate to recommend The Retreat to anyone who is visiting Karatu or Ngorongoro Crater.

Pembeni Rhotia features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Karatu. There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with free toiletries and bathrobes. The location is secluded and very quiet on the top of a hill in a forest. I had a great and peacful night sleep with the sound of the rain and birds early morning. No mosquitoes or biting bugs. The view from my tent was beautiful especially at sunset. Tents are very clean and good size. Air is clean. staff are very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Abbas for taking care of all my needs during my stay. Meals prepared by the local chef are delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend to stay here if you are planning for safari in either Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire national park or lake manyara (however Serengete is far way). I had a good internet connection in the tent. I recommend going for the ones closer to the reception (number 1-4) if you want to receive internet connection in your tent. With mountain views, Africa Safari Karatu is located in Karatu and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The location is second to none with unbelievable views. The meals are nice and tasty, served in an open restaurant at the top. The pool is nice and clean and even if you arrive quite late you might just be granted permission to have a nice evening swim after opening hours if you ask nicely. :)

Situated in Kwa Kuchinia, Baobab Tented Camp features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The place was amazing! located perfectly in the middle of Tarangire national park, so you can see the animals first thing when you wake up in the morning, and watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise in the middle of the savanna. The staff was so warm and welcoming, made sure to help with every possible thing. The food was excellent, we enjoyed it very much! The room was so clean and comfortable, we had very hot water for shower at night. It is just the perfect place to go in the middle of your safari trip, and we most definitely would love to go back!

Providing mountain views, Karatu safari camp Lodge in Karatu provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. upon our arrival we were greeted with cold fruit juice. This was so wonderful we stayed an extra night. The staff was extremely accommodating. We had our clothes washed as well as our car while we were here. Our room was of sufficient size with a beautiful covered sitting area outside. Our meals were well prepared and delicious. The creamy soups were especially creative and tasty. The evenings were a bit chilly. Upon retiring to bed after dinner we found hot water bottles under our blankets. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and our room was bug free. Wi-Fi was good but only in the dining/lounge area.

Situated in Kaiti, Mawemawe Manyara Lodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a garden. the room was huge, the property had a great view and a nice little view.
