When looking for a genuine, immersive and take it is experience Kitu Kiblu is a great choice to take. We spent a wonderful week there and are enthusiastic of all facilities and people; everything is exactly as described in the profile. Accomodations could be choosene to be more discreet (on the trees) or more common and we strongly suggest the second option; apart from an incredible quality/price ratio the whole experience deserves to be done! We appreciated so much to have shower in the jungle surronded by palm leafs and accept a rope is the door for the toilet (yes, it's true and frankly speaking all is priceless!!!!). All the description look a bit as only for brave and indeed this "return to the basic" is exaclty what I think it should be experienced to understand we don't need that much to feel happy, just go back to the essential and appreciate!!! People have been very friendly and inclusive and did their best to let us feel welcomed and help for local activities.

Meremeta Lodge ligt in Utende, op minder dan 15 minuten fietsen van Mafia Island Diving. Het biedt gratis fietsen en een tuin. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Very beautiful location - peaceful and surrounded by nature. The staff was very kind and friendly and helped out with anything we needed. The rooms had very large bathrooms, and they were very clean and tidy.

Chole Mjini Treehouses Lodge biedt unieke accommodatie in een boomhut op Chole Island in het hart van het Mafia Island Marine Park. De accommodatie heeft een duikcentrum. An amazing little island with outstanding tree house accommodation. Eco tourism at its finest. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Perfect for winding down after doing safari. Definitely worth a visit. The owner has done so much to help the locals which was lovely to see.
