Just a 5-minute drive from the heart of Jindabyne, The Station Jindabyne is 4 km from Lake Jindabyne and a 30-minute drive from Kosciuszko National Park. Perisher Ski Resort is a 35-minute drive...

I loved the whole package. Exactly what I needed! Desperate need for a re-charge from Sydney life. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with them, from Day 1! Therefore, decided to extend my stay, a further 5 nights. I will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful scenery and ideal place to stay to unwind. I must include the kangaroo visitors and beautiful natural surroundings.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Kosciusko Tourist Park is situated in Jindabyne, 17 km from Perisher Ski Resort and 24 km from Lake Jindabyne.

The staff were friendly, the cabin was cosy and instant hot water was nice. Tranquil setting amongst the trees and wildlife. The kitchen was great and had lots of utensils and pots for cooking. The heating was good inside, and there's a nice space outside provided to have a fire. The manager was nice enough to provide us with free WiFi when normally you would be charged.

Jindy Inn, hotel in Jindabyne

Located opposite Lake Jindabyne, Jindy Inn boasts rooms with free WiFi and free onsite parking. All rooms feature a balcony offering lake views or with a terrace with a rose garden.

This property exceeded our expectations. It was so quiet that we thought we were the only guests. It was great that we had access to a kitchen. So often when you stay somewhere there is no bowl or knife. We felt like it was our house, being able to access things we needed.

There are so many activities to experience during a Jiindabyne summer. Hiking is boundless, mountain biking is breath-taking, there are multiple craft breweries to visit and so many swimming spots along the lakefront. Hiring kayaks and fishing equipment is also possible but we ran out of time!!

I recommend staying at Jindabyne for the summer and winter seasons. The drive to Thredbo is a quick drive. The roads are cleared in snow season, we didn’t need to use the chains. Parking is easy and there’s free busses to the ski lifts. No need to stay in Thredbo. Jindabyne is much cheaper and has restaurants and the supermarket. I would never stay in Thredbo again. The supermarket is tiny and expensive in Thredbo. We stayed on the lake in a cabin which was perfect. We go for mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in winter.

Jindabyne is a nice and quiet place to have a short break during the summer. The lake is good for water activities, and being positioned at the foot of the mountains means day trips to Thredbo and Perisher/Charlotte Pass is an easy run. There are plenty of places still open to eat and a full supermarket for any other needs. There are also other activities going on in Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains through the summer, so google to see what's on and when.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ. Nothing much happens off-season, but it is picturesque and a great jumping off point to Kosciouszko National Park. There's a little coffee shop, Jindabyne F2, very good hot chocolate. But the brasserie at Banjo Patterson on the main drag was disappointing. And the carpark at Nugget's Crossing Shopping Centre is a nightmare.

It was a great place to stay although a warning when planning a trip for those on blood thinning medication, please factor in the altitude may have an effect on you!! It did for me with breathing and pressure on my body, although each person is unique and may be affected in different ways. You might not have any problems, just be aware of the possibility. Beautiful views, great walking track around the lake and lovely sights of Thredbo and Perisher not far away.

It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire. The only let down was the restaurants. They were too expensive like $28 for 10 pieces of pasta with only pasta. The Japanese restaurant need a booking to enter.

I loved everything. 😀. kookaburra lodge is a very lovely comfortable place to stay. The staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. The rooms feel so cosy. The bed in my room… Room 20.. an ensuite room … had the softest mattress and beautiful sheets and quilt. I slept so well. The breakfast was yummy. The location is really good… right near the shopping village. Jindabyne is a good base if you are wanting to go to the ski fields. I would 100% recommend this accommodation to family and couples. 10/10. 😀

Location, closer to all amenities and a very clean house. It's a home away from home. Kitchen is very well equipped - slow cooker, four slice toaster, measuring spoons for baking, every little thing you need in a kitchen is there for you. Heaven for a cook like me ! On top of that, you can see the mighty Jindabyne lake while sipping tea in the morning (or evening) albeit standing. And a huge plus plus - 20 steps away from a brewery.

The rooms we stayed in at Lake Jindabyne Hotel were very warm and cosy even without the heaters on. I love how eveything went smoothly from check in to check out. The beds were comfortable. The toilet and bath are separate so it was very convenient for a big family. The location was perfect because it was close to the shops. Highly recommended.

Great stay! Very accommodating owner and the interior was really nice. Heater for snow clothes was perfect and plenty of space. Amazing view of the lake and a close drive to the centre of Jindabyne and the snowy mountains. We arrived a bit early but we were given early check in which was great. Highly recommend for your next snow trip!

We decided to extend our stay in Jindabyne at the last moment and managed to book this loft. The location is fantastic, right across from the shopping center. The hotel's design is beautiful – whether it's the lobby or the rooms, we liked it at first sight. The room itself is also quite spacious, suitable for a large family.
