Quieter than Dhaka, busier than Shylet and less natural beauty than Moulvibazar. Has good foot outlets, overall. Evening street food is good has lots of sea food options. Kaptai lake is good if you are into nature and Bandarbon is good, they also have cave in Aloo Tilaa where you can do a “cave walk”.

I recently stayed at the Peninsula chittagong Hotel for a weekend getaway and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant, which served delicious, locally-sourced food that was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of nearby attractions and activities to keep me entertained. Overall, I can't recommend the Peninsula chittagong Hotel highly enough. The attention to detail, level of service, and quality of amenities truly made my stay unforgettable. Batali hill, war cemetery, cultural center, Patenga beach, marine drive and so many places to visit.
