Very nice location and very well equipped. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the very good internet service all over the premises. The breakfast was outstanding (5 choices) and staff were very helpful. Good value! Parking on premises.

The location is perfect, the rooms are ok for the price, breakfast is also ok (not superior but fine), the town itself is amazing. I saw a lot of hotels and this one is good for the town and the price. If I'll be there once again, most probably I'll choose this hotel.

The whole stay at the hotel was wonderful. Personnel was really really friendly and polite. The room was clean and tidy.
Food was amazing, super delicious and the drinks.....
We tasted homemade rakia and white wine - both were one of the best we have ever tasted. We bought two bottles of the same white wine.

The location is great for Melnik, but the road is terrible if you have to go out of Melnik regularly. If you are with a low car, it is better not to go in front of the hotel with the car.
The hotel amenities are great, the room was really big, and the AC was great.
The terrace was amazing.
The staff were really friendly and kind.

Melnik is an absolutely gorgeous town with amazing old architecture and Pyramid rocks towering over the town. Its really hot here during summer. A hotel with a pool highly recommended. The people are friendly. Service and food is great. Being a well reputed wine region the wine everywhere is very very good.
Everything is walkable in the main centre. So many restaurants to choose from. Make sure you make the hike to the monastery. The views from the top are spectacular.

Melnik is a very beautiful village, stay there but do not eat at the local taverns if you are not bulgarian. Very expensive, they charge double price compared to what they charge to the locals. You can have exceptional food quality and half prices at Petric and maybe at other nearby villages

Melnik is lovely with lots of wine to try. Good for hiking too. Walking to the monastery is a must!
It does NOT have a pharmacy. Finding basic things like paracetamol was a nightmare. A kind member of staff from a hotel gave me one of his arthritis meds.

Regarding the hotel - everything was perfect - the room, the breakfast, the staff. The hotel also has an excellent location - on a walking distance from all wine cellars & restaurants.
Melnik itself is the Bulgarian wine capital - so go there anytime you visit the country.
And do not miss the Museum of the wine.

Melnik is the smallest and also my favourite town in Bulgaria. Its wine culture, its architecture and the nature surrounding it, are unique. If I would take my foreign friends to any place in the country, Melnik would definitely be in the top 3. Fully recommend!

Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should...
Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should not miss this town, which is known as the "smallest town" in Bulgaria with around 200 residents. It's one of the few places where nature has shaped big sand pyramids, some of which can reach a height of 100 meters. There are unlimited possibilities for hikes from the town, the most popular are to Rozhen Monastery and to a church in Zlatolist where a 1,300-year-old platanus tree is located. The town sees many tourists and plastic pollution is a big problem, like in most of Bulgaria. Soon there will be more discarded plastic bottles than pyramids here.
Stayed in room #3. Very clean, room with own separate heating and AC units. Usually quiet with only 7 rooms. Best to park 1oo meters away on the lower street by the restaurant with the giant tree. There is parking next to the building but narrow cobblestone street if you decide to drive up the hill. Newer Old Melnik design building exterior. Do not forget to visit the amazing large intact Kordopulova wine and merchant's home uphill following the empty river. If driving, visit Rozhen Monastery 15 km away.
The best option by far when in Melnik. Perfect location up on a hill with a beautiful view down over Melnik. Hotel is new and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Strong wifi. Most importantly, it is run by a lovely family who really went out of their way to make sure I had the best stay possible. Melnik and the surrounding area (including the wineries) really are amazing...and Manoleva House is the perfect base to enjoy it. I can't wait to go back!
The room is very clean, even though it’s small its cozy and it has view on the old town of Melnik which is truly amazing. The hotel is joined with small shop and restaurant. There is access to small, open-air pool! The food is incredible, one of the very best that we ever had visiting Balkans. Owners of the place are the dearest, atmosphere is warm and homelike.
Nice hotel with perfect location - very green and quiet surroundings, yet only few steps from the main road. Parking next to the hotel. Spacy rooms, our apartment had 2 bathrooms. Receptionists speak English. Tasty "home-made" ice cream served in small ceramic mugs.
We've enjoyed spending one evening/night in Melnik, walking on its narrow streets and tasting traditional Bulgarian food. The hotel is following a rustic decoration, no elevator (but we had a separate bag for this transit night), hotel and our room were clean.
The apartment was very nice, clean and with everything needed. We had beautiful view to the pyramids. The garden was very big and beautiful and the staff was very professional and nice. Everything was perfect.
We loved everything, the hotel is owned by a family which is so welcoming! They will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, the nicest people you can meet!
A luxurious hotel in perfect location (Wine Museum in the premises!), friendly and helpful staff, excellent local food and wine in house and in numerous neighbouring restaurants.
Charming local hotel, well located for the variety of activities we wished to undertake. Good breakfast, and the host arranged transport for us to our next stay.
